you can be gay in the big major developer farm sim games now so indies are gonna need to start putting some fuckin butches and milfs and fat people in their romanceable cast like come ON. I can gay marry a skinny femme 20-something in story of seasons in fact my ONLY options, typically, are skinny femme 20-somethings. i shouldn't be stuck with 9/10 skinny femme 20-somethings and one "mature" bachelorette with maybe one visible wrinkle (if any) in indie games of all things.

When ppl will create a "curvy" girl character and get pretty much the whole body's proportions right, obviously they're putting emphasis on bust/hips but it seems like it's being executed well--- except that they completely, fully, and deliberately, skip the stomach entirely. Just nothin there. Not even a whisper. I'm like. Just sack up, make it make sense and be honest with yourself by making it official and say it's canon that they got a tummy tuck. You cowardly ass, yellow bellied, wet brained, upside-down dog mouthed dirty bitch.
#it'll look so uncanny bc it'll be like oh this more or less looks like it could be a body type I've seen on a real pers--- oh wait#you TOTALLY flattened the stomach for like no goddamn reason and you still want points for making her curvy. pass.#if ppl clown on this post I will not hesitate to turn off rbs and call a bomb threat to your house#sergle.txt#do you know what I mean though. like actually#you want EVERY aspect of a body type that does in fact. exist. very commonly actually. in the proportions you want#you want it all but you are so allergic to ANY substance on the stomach. so what now.#anything but the stomach. literally impossible to draw apparently#I'll be like ah maybe it's obscured with the clothing or pose but I see other art and I'm like oh no nvm it's on purpy.#''why does it have to be a plausible body type'' why put in any effort at all. why draw. why depict women ever. why wake up in the morning#nut up or shut up.

The Arcane fandom, especially on TikTok is never beating the allegations because why, now, some fans act like it's too inconceivable to imagine that Ambessa was, not only, pregnant twice but gave birth twice as well? And their reasoning for this is "She looks like the type to get a man pregnant instead" or "She's too tough for that, I just can't see someone like her going through that." There are layers to these statements because, for one, just because someone, especially a woman, is a dominant force doesn't mean that they can't get/don't want to become pregnant (do you believe overtly dominant men can't be fathers?) It's also very weird because the undertones of misogyny and misogynoir and the overt masculinization of black women are there because, not only are they viewing pregnancy and giving birth, in general, to be viewed as something "weak" (even though it's grueling hours of labor that results in tearing the body apart, sometimes even death) but also attempts to strip Ambessa of her nuance. Yes, she is strong and very dominant, but she also deeply loved her children, who she birthed, and when one was taken away from her it changed her deeply. It's very gross to view a character like her in this way because it also reflects how you view dominant women in real life, pregnancy, and childbirth as a whole. Like how are you going to praise Arcane for having such a wide and diverse ensemble of female characters, but then have misogynistic takes like this? Make it make sense.
#arcane#ambessa medarda#arcane ambessa#anti arcane#anti arcane fandom#bc if i said the “she gets a man pregnant bc she's girlboss” also plays into misogynistic tropes bc it not only#devoids female characters of their nuances but also frames pregnancy as something “weak” or those who go thru it as “lesser than” but always#pressing the pregnancy in question on male characters who they either ignore (so they only view pregnancy for breeding and nothing else) or#infantilize (so you only view pregnancy as happening to someone who is submissive?) there's layers to this#and bringing it back to the masculinization of black women especially dark skin women people are already viewed as#existing outside the stereotypical lens of “femininity” and that in turn includes pregnancy and childbirth (which is viewed#thru a stereotypical lens as well) and bc people already don't view black women to fit the first box they definitely don't for the other#especially if she matches ambessa's body type &/or personality#even tho a big part of ambessa's character is literally her being a mom!#and don't get me started on how some of you view mother characters as anything outside of motherhood in general#(but a part of that is also bc the media doesn't give them much at times either but fandom still gets it's lashing too!)#like lets analyze: why do you think female characters who are “too tough” can't be pregnant as well? why do you think they can't be mothers?#why do you think they are “too tough” to give birth? is it bc u subconsciously view it as a weakness?#why do you think black women especially those like ambessa can't give birth & be mothers? is it bc you have biased views towards motherhood#where it's stereotypically “feminine” (yte) and black women don't fit that mold in your mind?#like i could go on!#(if i also said back to the girlboss & get men pregnant thing how a lot of it carries undertones of misogyny as well id be wrong but-)#some of yall did the same thing with mel & continue to do so when those pregnancy rumors were coming out#masc women can give and want to give birth while still being who they are (it literally happens in real life) so why people act surprised?#tw pregnancy mention#tw childbirth mention#fandom racism#fandom misogyny

I've never read Claymore or anything, but I think it does monster character design better than most manga, or even just, monster media in general, particularly the female monster designs.
not female, but a girlboss nonetheless
#monsters#monster design#claymore#listen i watched the anime a long long long time ago when i was like 13 and i thought it wasnt bad#then i saw just how pretty the manga was and i was like oh#this is a downgrade#a shame#yes yes yes i know theyre sexualized and they all have the same body type but leave me alone#i like women and i like monsters and i still think this is wayyyyy better than what most men come up with for female monsters#like this isnt those men who draw a monster girl who basically just looks like a normal girl except she has horns#this is ascended#hehehe

I can't remember if I've posted abt this before but regardless: I'm sorry but I really and truly cannot get behind the idea that there is any wide-scale societal "pressure for trans men to be feminine" or "to be twinks" or whatever. You are either conflating a very small online community's beauty standard (usually some kind of transmasc pseudo-appropriation of "femboy" aesthetics, which yes, are often Bad and regressive and fetishized and etc.) with Mainstream Society, or confusing society not wanting trans men to transition with "wanting trans men to be feminine", which are certainly not the same thing. Ultimately if a cis person believes there is any validity to the concept of being trans (i.e. not a Posie Parker-esque "there's no such thing as a trans person" type), they are more likely to think that trans men should be like as masc and buff and hairy as possible or whatever bc that's what cis people think men look like and it's easier for a lot of people to recognize someone who Looks Masc as a man. It is difficult sometimes to see derision of trans guys who are Too Feminine and Not Hairy Enough or whatever (which is not always something someone has control over btw) as anything but "this is Skye who I think is a confused little girl because Skye does not pass" slightly restyled for 2023 "filthcore fagdykes" or whatever lol
#and btw 'twink' is not synonymous with 'skinny' that's not all it means i am so so so tired of seeing it used that way#i am also tired of like Positivity Posts for 'bears' needing to be based on derision of 'twinks'. get over that!#open mick night#lgbt#gender#god this is like that post where op is like It's sooooo hard being a trans girl who wants a vagina bc that's not the mainstream :pensive:#is it not? mainstream society decided women can have dicks? since when?#let men be masculine or whatever#sorry i know i've been talking abt this a lot lately but yknow it Is difficult. given the way i look and all that#like people keep saying that elliot page tweet was Actually About Body Type but like. is it? or is it about I Don't Think Elliot Page Passe#also tbh people say the same shit abt cis men. 'people are okay with Fem Queers(tm) but not Masc Queers(tm)' wow are they? since when?#and are the people telling men they're not allowed to be masculine in the room with us right now

No bc you guys are all “body positivity” until the skinny girl who wants/needs to gain weight to be healthier is struggling
#Jade speaks#DONT CAREEE#I’ve had an unhealthy relationship with food ever since the dickwad of a man who decided to hit up my inbox one day#’you need to get some meat on your bones!’#’stop complaining you’re skinny’#how about I blow you up and you die#I’m not even ‘conventionally’ skinny either but then when I do manage to gain some weight I’m supposed to lose it again#I’m so serious when I say women can never win#and fuck you to women who are putting other women down. why can’t we all just love each other regardless of our body types#and I’m not sorry for this post and I’m not deleting it

One of my biggest fashion double standard pet peeves is that a lot of fashion promotes the hourglass figure as the ideal body type, but doesn’t actually MAKE clothing for that figure. Try wearing any shirt and suddenly you either look dumpy or square
#literally so frustrated#apparently only 8% of women have the body type#but STILL#let me wear CLOTHES#text post

remember back in the rcdart era of tumblr when drawing fetishistic hyperfeminine caricatures of trans men with huge tits and hips and snatched waists and womens lingerie and makeup and pussies out got you ran off the site. now it's completely encouraged and is the default way people portray trans men and if you have a problem with it suddenly you're the monster. normal pro trans website great allyship
#why can we no longer recognize that ppl who post 'heckin huge boy boobies!!! valid gushy fat afab boy pussies!!' 500x a day are chasers#'i'm just representing my own body type' THAT IS A PORNO CARICATURE NO HUMAN LOOKS LIKE THAT#and if you have just one 'transmasc' character that looks like that sure but when every ftm you draw is more feminine than the avg woman...#well good luck babe#this is about puppy chan but it's an incredibly common trend on here and twitter#hence why i almost never use those sites now#imagine if there was just one depiction of trans men that was not completely focused on natal genitalia and sex characteristics#imagine just one ftm who's a regular guy. just one#and that's not even getting into how they portray trans women which is equally repulsive#interesting that the crowd that claims to be sooo pro trans literally does not believe trans men and women are men and women respectively#wolfertinger666#puppychan#also one of their new predictably hyperfeminine hypersexualized 'ftm' ocs 'lets his fits hang because eventually his dysphoria went away'#as if that's not the most transphobic thing i've ever read

So, Daeron is 16, Helaena is 17 and Aemond is ambiguously 16-17. That means Alicent had 3 separate full-term pregnancies in about a year. Let's just talk through this.
Pregnancies take about 10 months despite what the common belief is but you cannot get pregnant right after giving birth, not to mention the stitches and tearing of the vagina, the uterus needs time, it genuinely just wouldn't take. And let's give some slack, let's say one of her pregnancies wasn't full-full term, not too much since none of her children have been said to be sickly or weak or in any danger of stillbirth, lets say Aemond since 'he was born half his brother's size but twice as fierce'. And we're not gonna talk about Helaena's pregnancy, before this its 10 months pregnant, remember. So after giving birth, she would have to get pregnant as soon as possible, not even thinking about the stitches or tears that would likely take longer. And how horrible would that be for her, not fully healed having sex? It must have been torturous, absolutely agonizing. And then she gives birth too early, absolutely terrifying since Aemma Arryn exists as a curse haunting this show. And then she gets pregnant again, while having the most horrid, painful sex imaginable. Not even taking into consideration the very possible, very high infection risk.
If Helaena was born in the beginning of the year, January I guess, if it takes what at least 4 weeks till she can get pregnant again, it'd be early February, babies born 24 weeks survive with a hospital but Medieval Times? Again, its never mentioned so not too noticeable. Lets say, 32 weeks, 8 months, that's September. And again, 4 weeks, that's October. Daeron would be born in July. Did he just turn 16? Did she miss his birthday?
Having pregnancies too close together is bad for the mother, having sex too soon is bad for the mother. The infection risk, the reopening of stitches, the scarring. And she's 17! This young girl's body going through her first pregnancy at 15 (and notice how Viserys gives Alicent maybe a year before having a second, then its off to the races?) and then another at 17 (16?) and being pregnant for what, 2 years?
I am side-eying the Fuck out of Viserys and Aemma's relationship
#in not giving a shit about their timeline the writers have created a horror story#like this is body horror type shit to me#Aemma haunting the women of this show is so interesting and so sad to me#house of the dragon#hotd#alicent hightower#anti hotd#anti hotd writers#anti ryan condal#anti sara hess#anti house of the dragon#my post#mine

@moe-broey THANK YOU!!! AND IM GLAD THE RUFFLES ARE APPRECIATED!!!🎉🎉🎉
But seriously this is the highest compliment, because this is actively what I’m trying to do when it comes to how I draw Kiran! I really want to convey how unabashedly charming this silly little tactician is. It helps explain how they keep the order intact on a social level and also why this keeps happening:
In retrospect, Alfonse never really stood a chance, did he?
Anyway I won’t lie, I did all this for the Loki bit. Please imagine that she’s just off screen for all these outfits hitting that exact pose.
#Unironically had a very fun time drawing this set of characters all next to eachother#They all look so different from each other!!! Which is the main task I give myself in regards to a lot of the feh women#More body types let’s goooooooooo#ALSO. LOOK ME IN THE EYES. CAN YOU SEE WHAT IM COOKING WITH FJORM’S CRUSH ON KIRAN? CAN YOU SEE THE PIPELINE FROM THAT TO LESBIAN AWAKENING#Look if Intelligence Systems won’t let Fjorm go than I’m going to start cooking with giving her a more long term arc#Maybe she hasn’t told her brother she’s dying. Maybe she’s living with the dread that she gave up her life in order to stop Surtr#It was a worthwhile trade at the time but now she found reasons to keep going too little too late. People she wants to be there for.#And she’s learning more about herself and what makes her happy. She won’t have a lot of time to pursue those things but she has to anyway#Like oughhhhh Fjorm I can write so many dialogue scenes with you#I am also cooking with Seidr but that has drawings attached to it so I will not go off about her here#feh#fire emblem heroes#fire emblem#feh loki#fe loki#feh nott#fe nott#feh seiðr#fe seiðr#feh fjorm#fe fjorm#feh kiran#fe kiran#feh summoner#fe summoner#kiran#feh seidr#FE seidr#art tag

bioware making female dragon bigger than male and then not following through with qunari women being bigger is such a wasted opportunity. like imagine if bull being big and strong was actually a tamassran trait and him being gnc for a soldier, but he loved fighting so much they eventually made him into a spy, bcos he wasn't fitting well into other roles. his gender is spy, let him be a bit weird about that. he likes punching ppl but also takes care of his chargers, he will provide intel and advise the inquisitor, but also act as a bodyguard. he was never fitting into this priestess-soldier categories and i want his looks to express that, esp that he knows that the southeners don't know shit about qunari, prob never saw a tamassran before, so to them a very big qunari is just a more scary soldier.
#dragon age#the iron bull#the qun#qunari gender roles#i just saw a comparison between character models across the games#and i just wish they weren't following this whole women being shorter and slimmer than men with every race#like why didn't you keep dwarves having exactly same body type across the genders#and qunari women should have been bigger and buffier

if you only think thin women are attractive, or you only ever reblog images of thin women, or you only mostly do, maybe investigate that
"oh so people aren't allowed to have types? or aesthetic preferences?" of course we are. but when our types align as strongly with western imperialist patriarchal ideals as traits like "white" or "thin" or "young" or "feminine" then we should probably like. dig into why we're attracted excusively to one or more of those things
in case it's. you know. the inescapable patriarchal propaganda making us complicit in the punishment of women who deviate from those demands
"how do i investigate that?" ask yourself questions when you find a thin woman attractive. what is it i am attracted to about this woman, other than her thin body type? ask yourself questions when your eyes slide over a fat woman with the same style or attitude of thin women you find attractive. what is it about her that makes her invisible to me? or what is it about her that awakens a feeling of negativity or disgust? or of camaraderie rather than attraction?
i don't expect this post to change anybody's preferences or actions. and i'm not making it to shame anybody. i'm just exhausted by the relentlessness with which thinness is championed and fat bodies are erased from existence and particularly from desirability, and i'm tired of the fact that i have to notice it every second of every day, while most everybody else is free from thinking about it at all.
#fatphobia is hell to varying degrees for everyone but as a fat woman. i am making this post about women#maybe expose yourself more to diverse body types and then we'll all calm down#i'm just so tired.#this is particularly painful when its fellow queer people.#we deviate from the norm! we play with gender expectations! except when it comes to the expectation of thinness.

For a long time, it was a mystery on how psychic type pokemon gain their powers. Recently, it was discovered that many psychic type pokemon have an organ in their brain, near the Optical Lobe called the Pyscoptical lobe. The optical lobe is what allows psychic pokemon to use their powers. If it is damaged, the pokemon could lose their psychic abilities.
Researchers believe that each pokemon has this lobe, but it is very weak in other pokemon and must be trained, which is how non psychic type pokemon can learn psychic type moves.
Researchers have also discovered a part in Lucario and Medicham's brain that allows them to detect auras, though little is known about it. It seems very similar to the Psycoptical lobe, but instead is used to see auras.
It's important to fund research, guys. For the longest part of history, the explanation for pokemon abilities boiled down to, "they're just like that." But having information like this allows us to know what goes on in their brains, how they get their abilities, and how to help them if some part of them is harmed or damaged.
#also fund research on women's bodies#we know as much about that as we know about pokemon#which is surprisingly little (still)#rotomblr#pokeblogging#pokemon irl#pokeblog#irl pokemon#pokemon#pokeblr#rotumblr#pkmn irl#pokemon roleplay#irl pkmn#psychic type pokemon#pokemon biology#pokemon anatomy
